  ABOUT MONTY

Monty J. Renov is a biofeedback practitioner in New York City whose sessions are geared towards the goal of stress reduction. Much current research has highlighted the central role played by physical and emotional stressors in the etiology and onset of disease. As a result, more and more licensed medical practitioners are recommending various modalities of stress reduction to their patients in the effort to diminish the negative impact that stressors appear to be having on the patients’ health.

Monty’s background is as follows:

He received his B.A. in Psychology degree from Queens College, in Flushing, NY, on June 3rd, 1969.

He successfully completed a 32-hour Comprehensive Training Course in EEG Biofeedback provided by EEG Spectrum International, Inc., in Alexandria, VA, on June 26th, 2005.

He received his Master of Integrative Health Science degree from Capital University of Integrative Medicine, in Washington, DC, on December 11th, 2005.

He successfully completed a 40-hour comprehensive, intensive, professional education program in Clinical Biofeedback, with Helena Kerekhazi, Director of Health Training at Biocare Health Training Seminars, in Mamaroneck, NY, on August 18th, 2007.

Monty’s studies at Capital University of Integrative Medicine give him a deeper, more comprehensive and concrete understanding of the ways in which stressors directly affect the human body, than would otherwise be the case, allowing him to tailor his stress reduction biofeedback sessions to whatever biofeedback modality a given situation may be calling for, in a much more specific manner than might otherwise be possible.
